
Embroidery Atelier introduces students to the refined world of couture embroidery through both traditional hand techniques and modern machine embroidery.
Students explore hand stitching, French hook embroidery, beading, pearls, sequins, dimensional embellishment, appliqué, and machine embroidery while learning how these techniques are used in couture fashion.
The class goes beyond decorative stitching. Students learn how to create embroidery elements, develop texture and composition, and apply finished embellishments directly to garments to transform simple designs into distinctive couture pieces.

Explore machine embroidery techniques that allow students to create detailed motifs, textures, monograms, and decorative elements.

Learn couture-inspired hand embroidery, French hook techniques, decorative stitches, beading, pearls, and delicate embellishment.

Work with beads, sequins, pearls, lace, appliqué, specialty threads, and dimensional elements to create rich surface design.
Learn how to position, attach, and incorporate embroidered elements into garments so that every detail becomes part of the final design.
